ART CALL and EXHIBITION!
It's a Fine Art exhibition set to occur in March of 2015 in the heart of Northwood Village. An Art Call to interested artists will be released soon! All artists are encouraged to enter works that fall within the exhibition scope. (see further details directly on this page)
Collaboration -- or joint production by two or more artists—is a common style among musicians and performance artists. The strong sense of individualism long possessed by artists of fine art began to wane around the 1960s, and some artists working in units have emerged and become widely known along with the development of new media based on the advances in information technology. They have changed the concept of art into something that can be engaged in by more than individual artists alone.
Mixed Media -- in visual art refers to an artwork in the making of which more than one medium has been employed.
Host Gallery OSGS (Ortiz-Smykla | Gallery-Studio) will be providing the Opening Reception along with supportive sponsors to cater food, drink and entertainment!
www.OSGSart.com
Proceeds from the exhibition will benefit the Center for Creative Education which will be the host Gallery and Opening Space located at 425 24th Street in Northwood Village, just minutes from downtown West Palm Beach.
